Chef Frederic Kulczak has recently been appointed as Executive Chef at Mövenpick Hotel & Resort Beirut.
Mövenpick Hotel & Resort Beirut has announced the appointment of acclaimed French Chef Frederic Kulczak as new Executive Chef starting first of July, 2018.
Beirut, 24 July 2018 –“It is with great proud and pleasure that we welcome Chef Frederic Kulczak to join us,” said Chadi Gedeon, General Manager of Movenpick Hotel Beirut. “Having traveled the world, Chef Frederic has a wealth of knowledge and expertise. He will bring a dynamic, innovative energy to the dining experience at this luxury resort.
Chef Frederic brings nearly 20 years of culinary experience from around the world. Originally from Burgundy, France. Prior to joining the team at Movenpick Hotel Beirut, Frederic served as the Executive Chef in France, Ukraine, Djibouti, Dubai, Bora Bora and Seychelles.
He has held previous position of Production Chef at the three stars Michelin restaurant
with Mr Gerard Boyer Restaurant “Les Crayères “and with Mr Marc Meneau Restaurant
as Executive Sous-Chef at “L’Espérance “.
As Executive Chef, Frederic oversees the resort’s six dining outlets, including Hemingway’s Cigar bar and Lounge, Square Rooftop Bar, Clouds Shisha Lounge, Hurricane Pool Bar, Mediterranee restaurant and Burj Al Hamam, the famous Lebanese Authantic restaurant – Chef Stefano also oversees the resort’s in-room dining and banquets, catering events ranging in size from small meeting to large weddings of more than 500 people.
On his move to Beirut, Chef Frederic looks forward to further exploring his creativity in Middle eastern food, especially Lebanese cuisine and is excited to challenge his creativity – “I believe in staying true to the country’s cuisine, never confusing flavours and am excited to provide guests with the best that Lebanon has to offer”
